First of all, the API Standard Spec 7 for Drill Pipe Screw Threads was all available in the 40th edition, but in the 2006 edition, ISO 10424-1:2004 was divided into several parts: 7-1 Rotary Drill String Components Part 1, 7-2 2008, and ISO10424:2007 Part 2: Processing and Measurement of Rotary Shoulder Screw Connections.
3.1 Drill Pipe Threads
3.1.1 Drill pipe threads are included in the 7-2 standard with 13 types of threads
(1) Digital type (NC)
(2) Normal type (REG)
(3) Three internationally traceable gauges and calibration systems for through-hole type (FH)
(4) The inner flat type (IF) and the digital type V-038R have the same base surface pitch diameter and other parts with the same dimensions
